"hanging out at the hospital"

I have been at the hospital where I had to wait for my Mom to have surgery. I called an ambulance for her after Christmas and she was in such pain and vomiting violently. The doctors too tests and found that she had pancreatitis. So they took her gall bladder out which was also infected and loaded with stones.

My mom is here at home now, recuperating.

I have company with family members who are visiting her so I'll be writing more later.
