"books and meteors"

My mind needs sorting out. I think its' because I have a lot on it.

I saw the Leonid meteor shower last night in between the bright lights of Houston and the settling fog. I sat on my patio from 2:00 am till 4:00 am all bundled up in my sleeping bag and watched it. I counted only 35 of them before I headed off to bed. Since I had never seen a "shooting star" in real life before, the evening was a still a treat for me. Odd that I'd never seen them before.

I'm re-reading Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series (currenty in the middle of Dragonfly in Amber) with her accompanying Outlandish Companion all in preparation for the her new book which I intend to read, called The Fiery Cross. The book came out November 6th and it seems like I've been waiting for it forever.

I've got so much to do and I really don't have time to read the series and I haven't at all uploaded the new design for "Get It", nor have I made a dent in the collab work I need to get done.

At least I've fixed my Pieces page and updated it. That's one thing I can check off my list.

Oh well. There's always tomorrow.
