"Kitty Kollab - Sep 2001"
September 26, 2001, 11:57 p.m.

This is a Kitty Kollab project for September, 2001

Topic: My cat lets me know that I once was a cat in a past life. Comment.

I know that I was a cat in a past life. A spoiled cat. A princess.

My cat proves it to me everyday.

I watch him take his cat naps. I too love to take little cat naps throughout the day. I love to have someone come along and put food in my bowl - food I like. And I can very easily turn up my nose at food I don't like. Oh and grooming is fun and I'm always smoothing down my fur.

I don't have to be cajoled into paying attention to people. Rather I turn away from people who try to cajole me. I will do what I want on my own and yet I like to be petted when I want to be petted.

Sometimes I do not know what my cat is thinking and yet there are times when I can almost read his mind.

I feel I know how it feels to pounce like a cat, my butt wiggling in the air, watching and waiting until just the right moment.

I know what it feels like to rub up against someone's legs.

I know what it's like to be angry and howl like a cat. To be curious and always into everything as a cat and then of course, indifferent as a cat as well.

All these things make me feel like I must have been a finicky feline in a previous life!

My cat, Mickey
