"woes and my desktop"

It's thundering and it's been raining all day. I love the rain but I really hate driving in it. Folks are so weird when they drive sometimes - it makes me nervous when they are careless during a downpour like they were tonight on the way home. I'm quite sure it'll still be pouring in the morning during rush hour - at least that's what the weather forecaster said on the news.

This is not the entry I was going to write. I was going to write about the birthday of a coworker today, in-fact I did write a nice long entry about it but I lost the whole bleepin' thing! Now I'm broiled because there's a bigger, badder thunderstorm rolling it's way on into town and I only have a few moments to type this entry before I have to shut down.

Anyway I'm peeved now and greatly irritated. So I'm going to stop.

My sister is on Instant Messenger as I write this, trying to calm me down and trying to cheer me up. She sent me something amusing which gave me a good laugh.

Earlier tonight I uploaded my new desktop image for Site UnScene. For this month's desktop, I used an image I love and added the title and credits to it: "The Sense Of Sight" by Annie Louise Swynnerton, a Pre-Raphaelite artist. She has such a lovely sense of color and design. I enjoy her artwork.

Oh my! The storm is moving in closer. I've got to shut down now so that I don't fry my machine.
