I've decided on a few things for Get It.

As soon as the voting is for the new banner design, I'm going to offer the site to be re-designed by the Diaryland Designers on a monthly basis. This way we will have a Featured Designer each month and their work will be featured right on the site itself.

Then I need to get down to business with the rest of the site. After the first of the month I'll do that as I need to work on the Poetica Collab's new topic and move the current links to the archives. I'm also considering creating a resources page of links to help poetry writers with formats and writing and creativity with allegory and metaphor and such.

Ahh - there's so much to do.

I barely got my current August collabs in on time this month. I've finished them and I'm glad I did.

In my spare time lately, I've been reading Shirley MacLaine's Camino. I really like the way she writes and the fact that she writes about the her pilgrimage on the Santiago de Compostela Camino across northern Spain. This is a pilgrimage my friend Pat and I have always wanted to take ever since I learned about it at Cursillo. So I enjoy reading this book and am amazed at Ms. Maclaine's continual introspection and perpetual self-discovery. I admire her.
